The Bible Companion was created with a simple goal: to make Scripture freely accessible to everyone. We believe the Word of God should be available without paywalls, accounts, or barriers of any kind.
Whether you're looking for comfort in a difficult season, studying a specific topic, or simply reading through the Bible, this site is designed to be a quiet, peaceful companion on your journey.
All translations are stored and served directly — no third-party APIs, no tracking. Your Bible study is private. We don't collect personal data or require any sign-up. The site is funded through Google AdSense advertising; advertising helps keep this project free for everyone.
The Bible Companion is operated by InvokeSudo LLC, an independent United States–based publisher. JC serves as the editor responsible for the site's written guides, devotional content, prayer reflections, and editorial direction.
Editorial perspective: Broadly ecumenical Christian. We offer 31 translations spanning Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox canons. The reader presents Scripture without commentary so each reader engages with the text directly. Where we do write commentary — in devotionals, prayer guides, and study articles — we aim for a contemplative, non-denominational tone rooted in the historical Christian tradition.
What this site is not: The Bible Companion does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Nothing on this site is a substitute for pastoral counseling or professional services. Public-domain scripture (KJV, ASV, WEB, and others) is reproduced under public-domain status; modern translations are referenced with attribution.
