The Bible Companion is a free, open web application that provides access to 31 public-domain and open-licensed Bible translations (956,000+ verses), an emotion-based Scripture finder, topic-based verse collections, a prayer generator, daily devotionals, and a library of extra-biblical historical texts. All features are free and require no account registration.
All Bible texts provided on this site are in the public domain or available under open licenses (Creative Commons CC0, GPL, etc.). No copyrighted translations (NIV, ESV, NLT, etc.) are included. The data is self-hosted and does not depend on any third-party Bible API. Content in the Library section includes extra-biblical texts provided for educational purposes — inclusion does not imply endorsement or canonical status.
