Day 30 of 30

Peace That Remains

From the Peace in Chaos devotional series

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

— John 14:27

Reflection

This is where we began — and where we will always return. The peace of Christ is not temporary. It is not conditional. It is a gift He left for you before He ascended. Not the world's version of peace, which comes and goes. His peace — steady, deep, and eternal. Carry it with you beyond these 30 days. Return to Scripture when life feels loud. He is always here.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for these 30 days. Thank You for meeting me in every word, every prayer, every moment of stillness. I carry Your peace with me — into whatever comes next. My heart will not be troubled, because You are with me. Always. Amen.

Peace Challenge

Write a letter to yourself about what you have learned in these 30 days. Seal it. Open it the next time life feels chaotic — as a reminder that peace is possible.

How to Use Today's Devotional

Begin by reading the Scripture passage slowly, then read the reflection as a prompt rather than as a replacement for the biblical text. The goal of this series is to help you practice peace in ordinary life: paying attention to God, naming what is heavy, praying honestly, and taking one faithful step.

If you have time, copy one phrase from the verse and carry it with you through the day. Return to the prayer in the evening and notice what changed in your thoughts, conversations, or reactions. Small repeated practices often shape the heart more deeply than a single intense moment.

For wider context, open the passage in the Bible reader, compare translations, and read the surrounding chapter. You can also continue with the next day in this devotional or browse Bible verses about peace.
