Phase 2 of 6

Declaring His Word

Speak His Word back to Him

Understanding this phase

The next step is you begin to declare His Word — that's what He wants to hear. When you speak Scripture, you are reminding God of His own promises. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

You declare His Word because that's what He wants to hear. Your feelings are not going to be the punch that moves God — it's going to be an issue of Faith. Faith is so potent and so powerful, He says you can move a mountain. It's not how big, it's not how loud, it's not how long — it's how convicted you are about it.

Scripture foundation

"And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."

— Mark 11:22-23

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

— Isaiah 55:11

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

— Romans 10:17

Example prayer

Lord, Your Word says that You watch over Your Word to perform it. I stand on Your promises tonight. Your Word says no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Your Word says I am the head and not the tail. Your Word says You will never leave me nor forsake me. I declare Your Word over my life, my family, and my situation — and I believe it shall not return void.
